Setting and Structure

It is becoming apparent that happenings from a parallel universe impact the player’s universe. Magical particles that seem to emerge from a gap between the universes, Magic Catalytic Particle (MCP).

When MCP pools in high density in seemingly random locations, it is likely that ‘sites’ will emerge in close proximity. At the centre of the ‘sites’ are massive deposits of minerals (e.g., crystals) that seem to traverse universes intact. They are called ‘Rare Elements’ or Rx.

Within the game, players must complete reconnaissance missions to uncover, map and catalogue the emergence of Rx. While some missions can be achieved by solo players, most advanced missions are dangerous expeditions that require a party of several players.
